A few parents to help chaperone students on the bus and during the event will also be helpful. If you are able to help out in any way, please email [ecolesalishmusic@gmail.com](mailto:ecolesalishmusic@gmail.com) by November 6th. | | --- | --- | | **November 19 @ 6:30pm** | Salish Jazz Presents **R&B Explosion**   Doors open @ 6pm, performances start 6:30pm   WHERE: Ecole Salish Cafeteria   Advanced ticket sales through School Cash Online in November, or we will accept cash at the door.   This is our major performance of the year! Come out and support our music department and enjoy the groovin' sounds of the award winning Salish Jazz Bands. | | **December 8 @ 6:30pm** | **Winter Concert** showcasing all the Salish concert bands  Tuesday, December 8th at 6:30pm in the large gym   All concert bands will be performing! Featuring the grade 8, intermediate and senior concert bands, with a holiday twist!    Event by cash donation at the door. All proceeds support the Salish Music band programs. | | **December 9 @ 6:30pm** | **Winter Jazz Band Concert** featuring all the Salish Jazz Bands Wednesday, December 9th at 6:30pm in the theatre   Get ready for some jazzy holiday tunes from our jazz bands, plus bonus performances from some of our jazz combos!   Advanced ticket sales through School Cash Online beginning at the end of November. All proceeds support the Salish Music band programs. | | **February 5, 2027 @ 6:30pm** | **Jazz Festival Preview** featuring all Salish Jazz Bands and combos scheduled to perform at the Surrey International Jazz Festival Friday, February 5th at 6:30pm in the theatre   Come and support our jazz band students as they perfect their jazz festival performances! This preview concert is a great opportunity to hear what the jazz bands have been working on, and it gives them a chance to try out a "dress rehearsal" performance before they go on stage at the jazz festival!   Advanced ticket sales through School Cash Online beginning in January. All proceeds support the Salish Music band programs. | | **February 12-13, 2027** | **Surrey International Jazz Festival** Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13 at the Bell Centre and Sullivan Heights Secondary   This is one of the biggest jazz events in Surrey! All performances at the jazz festival are free to attend! Performance dates and times will be confirmed the week prior to the event. | | **April 15, 2027 @ 6:30pm** | **Spring Concert Band Performance** featuring all Salish concert bands Thursday, April 15th at 6:30pm in the large gym   Come and enjoy some fresh tunes from our concert bands!   Event by cash donation at the door. All proceeds support the Salish Music band programs. | | **May 13, 2027 @ 6:30pm** | Salish Jazz Presents **Java & Jazz Night**   Doors open @ 6pm, performances start 6:30pm   WHERE: Ecole Salish Cafeteria   This is our biggest performance fundraiser of the year! Join all of our Salish jazz bands and jazz combos for a fun evening of jazz music celebration! Tickets include coffee, refreshments and appies!   Advanced ticket sales through School Cash Online in November, or we will accept cash at the door. | | **June 3, 2027 @ 6:00pm** | **Year-End Concert** featuring all Salish concert bands, as well as junior and senior jazz bands Thursday, June 3rd in the large gym   This is our final performance of the year! Come and celebrate our young musicians' growth, and bid farewell to our grade 12 band students.   Event by cash donation at the door.
